Do not sell or share my personal information
CaughtUp already applies this choice to every user: it does not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not use personal information for targeted advertising. CaughtUp also does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
Because these activities do not occur, there is no account-level switch needed to opt out. If this practice changes, CaughtUp will update this page and provide any legally required opt-out mechanism before the new activity begins.
Global Privacy Control
CaughtUp honors Global Privacy Control and similar legally recognized opt-out preference signals by maintaining a no-sale and no-sharing practice. The public website currently has no advertising or analytics scripts that attempt to override such a signal.
Sensitive personal information
CaughtUp does not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics or for advertising. Content you submit or forward may contain sensitive information; it is processed only for the user-directed feature, security, or another purpose permitted by applicable law. You may ask CaughtUp to restrict or delete that content.
Submit a request
Email support@getcaughtup.io with the subject “Privacy request.” State whether you want to know, access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object, or appeal. Include the email associated with CaughtUp, but do not email passwords, government identifiers, OAuth tokens, or payment-card information.
Authenticated users can also export data, correct profile and preference information, reset learned patterns, and complete verified deletion in CaughtUp Settings. You do not need to create a new account to submit a request by email. Exercising a privacy right will not result in discriminatory treatment.
Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request for you. We may ask the agent for signed permission or other proof of authority and may ask you to verify your identity or confirm the authorization directly. Information collected for verification is used only to evaluate and fulfill the request.
Appeal a decision
If CaughtUp denies a request, reply to the decision email with “Privacy appeal” and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and provide any regulator contact information required by applicable law.
