Google connection help
The Google window closed or setup did not finish
Open CaughtUp again and choose the reconnect action shown in Settings or setup. Complete the Google flow in the full extension page and keep it open until CaughtUp confirms the session.
Gmail says reconnect required
The Google authorization may have expired or been revoked. Reconnect from CaughtUp; successful consent replaces the prior server-side credential for that account.
Why does CaughtUp ask for Gmail access?
CaughtUp requests gmail.send only to send a reply from the same verified Gmail account after you review and confirm it, or when you separately enable an eligible Auto-send policy. It does not use Google OAuth to read your inbox, manage Gmail drafts, change labels, delete email, or change Gmail settings. Incoming messages reach CaughtUp through the private forwarding address you configure in Gmail.
What Google data does CaughtUp receive?
Google sign-in provides your account identity. The separate Gmail connection provides authorization to send from that same verified address. CaughtUp does not receive inbox message content through the Gmail API. Messages appear in CaughtUp only after you configure Gmail to forward them to your private CaughtUp address.
How is Google data used?
Google and extension user data is limited to the visible CaughtUp features and related security and reliability purposes described in the Privacy Policy. CaughtUp does not sell this data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or generalized AI-model training. Relevant forwarded content may be processed by the configured language-model provider only for the requested classification, drafting, or pattern-suggestion feature; OAuth credentials are not included in those prompts.
How do I finish forwarding setup?
After Gmail sending is connected, copy the private forwarding address shown by CaughtUp and add it in Gmail’s Forwarding settings. CaughtUp receives and confirms Google’s verification message automatically. Gmail still requires you to select the new forwarding destination, enable forwarding, and choose Save Changes. Return to CaughtUp so its external route check can prove the Gmail forwarding hop before intake becomes active.
Agent memory and stored data
What does the alias inbox keep?
CaughtUp keeps normalized message bodies and thread metadata for forwarded conversations until you delete your CaughtUp data. Raw MIME and forwarded attachment files are not kept in the alias archive. Relevant bounded content may be processed by the configured language-model provider for classification, drafting, and non-authoritative pattern suggestions.
Review or reset learned patterns
Open Settings → Agent memory to review each suggested pattern and supporting message evidence. Confirming a pattern does not enable Auto-send or silently rewrite creator-owned settings. You can reject individual patterns or reset learned patterns while keeping the message archive.
Export or delete data
Choose Export my data to download a JSON copy of CaughtUp-held account, profile, connection, inbox, draft, negotiation, opportunity, media-kit, subscription, and audit data. Credentials, hashes, one-time verification material, and global anti-abuse state are excluded for security. To delete CaughtUp-held data, enter the signed-in email in the verified deletion control and confirm. Deletion removes CaughtUp records and uploaded media, but you must remove the Gmail forwarding rule separately.
TikTok Shop connection help
TikTok Shop Creator uses a separate Connect TikTok action in Opportunities. Development access is currently subject to TikTok Creator OAuth beta, allowlist, and testing-account approval. If authorization opens TikTok but never returns to CaughtUp, stop and contact support; do not repeatedly enter credentials or provide a password to CaughtUp.
Subscription and billing
Are paid subscriptions available?
Not yet. CaughtUp will display the price, billing interval, any trial, renewal terms, and cancellation terms before paid enrollment opens.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings → Subscription → Manage billing and cancel on Stripe’s hosted Customer Portal. The same control also lets you update payment information. If the control is unavailable, email support@getcaughtup.io. CaughtUp will not require a phone call or a longer cancellation workflow than enrollment.
Will I receive a reminder?
Before enabling trials or automatic renewal, CaughtUp will configure applicable trial-ending and renewal reminder notices. Payment failures and scheduled cancellation status will also appear through the billing controls.
Disconnect accounts
Stop forwarded intake
Choose Disconnect intake in CaughtUp Settings. This disables the private CaughtUp address, but it cannot remove a rule from your Gmail account. Open Gmail Forwarding settings and delete or disable that destination as a separate step. Existing archived threads remain until verified deletion.
Revoke Google sending access
Remove CaughtUp from the third-party access section of your Google Account. This prevents future authorized Gmail sends, but does not remove a Gmail forwarding rule or delete CaughtUp-held records. Signing out of the extension only removes the local browser session.
TikTok Shop
Use CaughtUp’s connection controls when available and revoke the app from the account controls provided by TikTok Shop. Disconnecting Google does not disconnect TikTok, and vice versa.
Delete stored CaughtUp data
Use the verified deletion control in CaughtUp Settings or contact support@getcaughtup.io if the control is unavailable. Verified deletion cancels any active CaughtUp subscription immediately before removing product data. Disabling forwarding, signing out, or revoking a third-party connection is not a deletion request for stored CaughtUp records.
